Margaret of Shine by Three, who always looks impossibly adorable! I love her palazoo pants; the print has the perfect tribal feel, perhaps reminiscent of Isabel Marant? I think it’s the unique print and effortless way the fabric falls. I’m really getting into more relaxed, lounge-wear inspired pieces; it’s so comfortable in the heat and it lends itself perfectly to a more unpretentious, natural style.
My lovely friend Caz on the way to Bondi a couple weeks back after a delicious brunch at Bills. It was my first time at the one in Woollahra (Bills has three locations in Sydney as well as Japan), and damn it was good. Although I’m sure I’m not offering any pearls of wisdom to locals, it’s hardly a well kept secret. And how great are Caz’s ripped white jeans for a lazy Sunday? White is the perfect shade of denim for summer, so fresh and light!
I always love running into Mon, she embraces colour like no-one else. And she has layering down to fine art; I’m a minimalist at heart, so I’m always amazed how she pulls everything together so effortlessly. I photographed and filmed Mon for the Westfield Style File which you can see over at Pedestrian here.
Lee is from the U.K, and hands down the most well-dressed backpacker I’ve ever seen/met. My travel photos reveal endless days of top knots (dirty hair), comfortable clothing and ugly sandals (read: flip flops), so I was pretty impressed with Lee’s effort. Not to mention his yellow socks – love the attention to detail.
