Oh why hello there Miu Miu Noir’s. I picked these red sparkly babies up courtesy of Sunglass Hut at their floating pop up store down at Darling Harbour last month. Pop up stores by their very nature are unexpected, and the fact that the Sunglass Hut store was out on the water only made it more special. They are, without a doubt, the most over the top accessory I own. The entirety of my wardrobe is pretty much black, white and beige, but there was something about these red glittery frames which I couldn’t say no to! I’ve copped a few underhand comments from my boyfriend, but their overstated glamor is what I love about them. The 1940′s, feminine style is just so beautiful. Or at least beautifully crazy. And the shape is perfect; large (but not ridiculously over-sized) with just enough of a cat-eye curve. It’s the ultimate combination of elegance and excess, and I love it!
