Aubrey

Aubrey’s style is hippy-luxe at it’s best; free spirited but not careless, she always looks like a total dreamboat. I love her approach to layering, she combines unexpected pieces in a way that is completely her own. I’m pretty jealous of her incredible fur vest, even more so because she picked it up for $10 at the markets. Always the best. Aubrey also has a blog, which you can check out here.

Not everyone gives great gifts. Even those who know and love us still sometimes decide that all we really need is an ugly jumper. Or a bad book. So I asked Giselle, who is the stylish eye behind one of my favourite online boutiques – My Chameleon – to share what she will be buying her female friends and family this year. I always get a kick out of buying presents; carefully selecting something I know someone will love and wrapping it oh so pretty. And Giselle, as you can tell, feels the same about gift-giving only on a much more stylish scale. Giselle is one of those people who discovers cool brands the rest of us have never even heard of, so I can only imagine receiving gifts from her would always be extra special.

Hey Handsome

We Are Handsome create the ultimate swimwear. So bold they stand out a mile off, their prints are crazy in the best kind of ways. Not everyone can pull of a huge deer across their torso or a growling panther near their crotch, but for every shy wallflower there’s an extrovert who’s game. Their one-pieces are always my favourite of every collection; the prints just fit so perfectly across the body and create such a powerful effect. I actually haven’t worn a one-piece since I was at primary school, but I could be swayed to give one a go. And their new collection (due to drop next year) is all kinds of amazing; I’m in love with the fresh floral prints, which in my opinion, are probably their best yet.

Kimberley

I’m becoming more and more influenced by the people I meet and shoot; I often find myself walking away thinking how much I love a certain piece they were wearing, or that I have to try their favourite cafe, or find that book they mentioned etc. I met Kimberley this week at the OPSM Ice Cream Van, which is exactly as it sounds; a vintage ice-cream van filled with sunglasses (and ice-cream). I wasn’t really into the Ray-Ban youngsters, but when Kimberley put them on, I realised they were actually kind of great. Mirrored lenses aren’t normally my thing, but with the matte grey frames they don’t seem too crazy. And they have this whole 90′s, sporty-luxe thing going on which I’m all about lately. Long story short; I also want these bad boys.
