Ah Isabel, how you’ve cause such a divide. Who knew a mere sneaker could cause such desire and loathing in (almost) equal proportions. Tell me, do you find these all too familiar sneakers either aching hip or borderline hideous? Just quietly, I kind of love them. My boyfriend thinks they are the ugliest shoes to grace the planet, and a few of my friends have questioned my judgement. But I don’t care, sneakers are having their moment and Isabel makes the fairest of them all. I should let it be known, I don’t actually own the Bekket boots myself – these belong to a gorgeous girl I met in Paddington who picked them up from the Isabel Marant store in New York. I’m just speculating; would I own them if I could? Yes, I think I would.
