Ray-Ban Wayfarers, eBay cap, T by Wang t-shirt, Uniform Studios shorts, Celine bag, Nixon watch, Dieppa Restrepo loafers
Leather shorts and a slouchy tee have always been my uniform; it’s a fool-proof combination. But now I’m in London, 17000 kms from where these shots were taken (by the lovely Lia-Belle), and there’s no way I can step outside in this kind of get up. I’m still acclimatising, so I haven’t quite figured out how to dress for the cold. I do love a good coat, but right now I’m leaning more towards a snow suit, or a large blanket. It’s a tough life I know. On the plus side, London is a beautiful city, and I have a big day of touristy sight seeing planned which I’m pretty excited about.
For my latest Style Spy post, I caught up with Anna and Lill, the gorgeous duo behind Anna & Boy. It’s no secret that Australian’s have a strong affinity with summer; it’s as if everyone’s mood just lifts when the warmer weather arrives. Obviously this happens the world over, but the beach culture here really does become a way of life. And no-one embodies an Australian summer more than Anna & Boy. Focusing only on summer and cruise collections, the label is all about beach cool with a refreshing twist.

I recently spent a morning at the picturesque Sailors Club in Sydney with RMK Shoes and some lovely bloggers. The girls slipped into their favourite heels, and we shot a series of style portraits in the restaurant, making use of the impressive decor and incredible ocean views. The shots above are my favourite from the day; Krystal, Steph, Marg, Zanita and Aley all look equally fresh and effortlessly beautiful.
Ryan Storer is a new jeweller with an incredible eye and an opulent touch. His ability to fuse old world glamour with modern cool is what turns his pieces into something extraordinary special; the kind of thing you keep forever, wear to important occasions, become a heirloom.
This swavorksi and pearl ear cuff makes a statement, but it’s also beautifully refined. Ornate but still completely wearable. Ryan’s first collection includes bangles, earrings, neckpieces and of course ear cuffs. All just as special as this piece above.
Ryan is due to launch his website next week, so keep an eye out.
