The second (and final) series of travel shots from my time in Venice. As you can see, it’s an extremely photogenic place. Rich in history, lined with quaint, colourful buildings and of course, an endless supply of pizza. Our apartment was smack bang in the middle of Venezia; down a narrow alleyway, through an almost secret door, and up five flights of stairs took us into the ultimate home away from home. Big, bright and colourful; I can’t imagine ever booking a hotel again. Venice, you were pure magic.

Did you use some online site to find the apartment, and did you use it in the other cities, too?

I did – my boyfriend and I stayed in apartments in every city. Because we were travelling for a few months we couldn’t afford hotels but didn’t want to stay in backpackers either, so staying in privately owned apartments was the perfect solution. In Venice we used Airbnb, but I will also be posting a couple city guides/reviews of other options of over the next month too x

I love that shot of you sitting at the table – gorgeous! Are you wearing much make up on your travels or just a slick of mascara on your lashes?
Where are you living now by the way? I love the little sneaky shot of your kitchen! x
Jessie
Thank you lovely! In that shot I’m just wearing mascara – but I have to admit I did wear a bit of makeup for most of travels. It’s kind of become habit – usually I wear a small amount of foundation, mascara and Modelco eyebrow kit.
We have just moved into Angel in London. I love it. So great to have a new home! I will be sure to post some pictures once we are fully settled.
