Several weeks ago I swung by the lovely ladies at Under The Wing and took my pick from Secret Squirrel’s summer 11/12 collection Botanica. I say this without the usual fashion euphemisms and exaggerations – the collection is pretty spectacular. And even better in real life. Blessed by the morning sun, we headed for a quiet garden to capture the wild and uniquely pretty digital prints. The simple silhouettes and unstructured silks worked in perfect harmony with the organic beauty of our surrounds, it couldn’t have fallen into place more effortlessly

How angelic is Srna’s dress – I love the balance of structure and femininity. White is definitely going to be my colour (if you can call it that) of choice as the warmer months approach. So simple and fresh, I think it’s safe to say it’s the ultimate shade for summer.

It may sound strange, but I was excited by the fact Amy is a psychologist. I find I’m often drawn to similar types of people (generally those with an interest in fashion) so it’s always great to speak with someone who works in a field which I don’t know a huge amount about. Above all else I seek people with a sense of style and charsima, but it’s sort of a bonus when they don’t work in fashion.
