Maddy

Not only is Maddy so very sweet (and one of those people you can just endlessly talk with), she is also super talented. Her accessories label Moxham has a refreshingly unique industrial style – the jewellery is both minimal and chunky – clean lines formed from weighty gold plated brass.

Maddy is currently in the throes of holding a pop up store for Moxham in central London. It’s a beautiful clean space down 53 Monmouth Street in Covent Garden, with the full collection available to touch, feel and try on. The store will be open until May 24 – so if you’re a local defintely get on it. And for those further afeild, the collection is available online here.

In the studio with Mania Mania

For my latest Style Spy post, I caught up with Tamila Purvis, one half of the Mania Mania duo in their beautiful Sydney studio. Mystical and raw, their pieces have the perfect kind of imperfections that makes jewellery special. And Tamila is cool personified – the kind of girl you can’t help but want to be – laidback, layered in jewels, with killer style.

You can check out Mania Mania’s current collection here. My pick is the Telepathic Ear Cuff; clean and simple with plenty of edge.

Anna & Lill

For my latest Style Spy post, I caught up with Anna and Lill, the gorgeous duo behind Anna & Boy. It’s no secret that Australian’s have a strong affinity with summer; it’s as if everyone’s mood just lifts when the warmer weather arrives. Obviously this happens the world over, but the beach culture here really does become a way of life. And no-one embodies an Australian summer more than Anna & Boy. Focusing only on summer and cruise collections, the label is all about beach cool with a refreshing twist.

Elke

I first met Sydney-based jewellery designer Elke Kramer last year when I was shooting behind the scenes of her AW12 collection, which featured an impressive group of influential and inspiring Sydney women. The women all brought their own energy and creative aesthetic to the table, and the results were super beautiful and appropriately Elke.

Elke has carved out a solid identity for her namesake brand; bold, graphic and always unique. Worn best by the girl who knows how to pile on jewellery and look effortlessly cool while doing it.

Elke’s personal style is like the perfect mish-mash; unlikely fabrics and contrasting prints which are made for each other. I’m in love with her tight curls (which have been blonde, pink and many shades of red). Rather than me regurgitating Elke’s tale of success, check out her site here.
