On the street

Get Natalia’s look: charcoal wool coat, quilted black dress, black platforms

Pint sized Natalia Alaverdian is both super cute and super cool in this all black look. I love the high neckline (I’m all about turtlenecks right now) and the bold red lip. In my mind, the key to winter dressing is a ridiculously great coat. And Natalia’s overcoat is a perfect example; the dark charcoal colour, traditional cut and beautifully heavy fabric are a match made in heaven.

Get Hanneli’s look: Louis Vuitton skirt, jacket and bag, round metal sunglasses and white platforms

The white walls outside the Louvre for the Louis Vuitton show this morning almost resembled a passport photo booth, but for Hanneli’s prim and proper outfit it actually doesn’t look too out of place. I love the sorbet accents in her ever so ladylike twin piece suit. And her graphic metal frames inject just the right amount of playfulness into an otherwise elegant look.

Indre & Taylor

Get Taylor’s look: floral blazer, ribbed sweater, Joseph shirt, Christopher Kane for J Brand jeans, red pumps

Firey locks, check shirt tied around the waist and red pointed pumps; Taylor is always the coolest lady around. She even manages to make embellished jeans super chic. Because to be fair, when I think about embellished jeans all I can think about is a time in the mid-nineties that should perhaps be left in the past. But this Christopher Kane for J Brand collab is actually pretty great. And Indre’s khaki jacket is perfection too – big fan of the boxy shape. Love that she paired it with crisp white on white.

Get Simone’s look: 3.1 Phillip Lim coat, black shorts and black boots

During London Fashion Week I teamed up with Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe to cover their backstage shows, meet with some of the top creatives within their team, and shoot a few looks on the street.

Simone nails the kind of minimalist cool I have always wished I could pull off, and there’s no doubt that her sleek ponytail is what finishes this look off perfectly. Her understated hair highlights the clean lines and structured simplicity of her 3.1 Phillip Lim coat, which I love. To get Simone’s slick look make sure you blow dry and iron your hair perfectly straight, tie your hair into a low pony at the nape of the neck with a simple hairband and finish with Toni & Guy Shine Gloss Serum.

And if you’re interested, some of my backstage and street style shots from London will be posted on the Hair Meet Wardrobe Facebook page in the next few days right here.
