On the street

Nadia

I love Nadia’s clean, pared-back approach to dressing; a healthy dose of black tailoring goes a long way. Her simple leather shift is beautifully cut, and is perfectly topped off by the long line blazer expertly draped over her shoulders. Sophisticated but cool. And Nadia’s intergalactic Comme des Garcons clutch is all the colour this look needs. So slick.

Nicole

Two more trends from the 90′s which have managed to creep back for another round; snakeskin print and velvet.  I have to say, I’m quite a fan of Nicole’s Amy Kaehne vest – love the masculine slouch and easy tailoring.

Claire

I’m excited to share the first installment of my new street style column for Grazia Australia featuring beautiful Claire in this killer dress by Karla Spetic. So 90′s – spaghetti straps and all.

The column is bi-weekly (you can see the rest of my shots in this weeks issue), so keep an eye out for the cool kids I’ve been shooting on the street. Sydney girls never disappoint, and I feel like the warmer weather really has brought everyone out of hiding!

Elle & Tash

I seem to bump into these two ladies everywhere; never one without the other and always looking effortlessly cool. I’m a little jealous, my best friend and I haven’t lived in the same city since high school. There are few things better than spending time with your platonic soul mate.

A black and white, cropped version of this shot has actually ended up all over MidCity shopping centre (which is in the city no less) for a blogger ‘take over’ the girls are part of. I need to get into the city soon and see it for myself!
