Tassel Loafers

Dieppa Restrepo Gaston Tassel loafer in croc print

The weather (in Paris right now anyway) is actually starting to warm up, and I’m pretty excited about the prospect of wearing slightly less layers. Not even spring dresses or t-shirts, but just jumpers without thermals and loafers without socks. It’s the little things which can make all the difference.

These are in fact not my only pair of patent tassel loafers – I’m a big fan of simple, slightly masculine footwear. I picked up this pair from favourite Australian online boutique, My Chameleon. Sadly most of the sizes are already gone, but they have plenty of other super cool styles available. Otherwise try your luck here.

Azalea

It’s safe to say I have a loafer addiction – particularly of the patent black leather variety. So naturally it was a happy day when I stumbled across these Acne Azalea tassel loafers in my size and on sale. Perfect for achieving masculine cool. Sometimes the stars really do align.

Roshe Run

Never has a shoe felt so comfortable. These kicks are like walking on brand new carpet all day long. And while they look kinda weird off the foot thanks to the soft mesh fabric over the toes, they are actually super cool when you slip them on. Perfect for days of endless walking, exploring new cities and sights.

Girls in Heels

I recently spent a morning at the picturesque Sailors Club in Sydney with RMK Shoes and some lovely bloggers. The girls slipped into their favourite heels, and we shot a series of style portraits in the restaurant, making use of the impressive decor and incredible ocean views. The shots above are my favourite from the day; Krystal, Steph, Marg, Zanita and Aley all look equally fresh and effortlessly beautiful.
