Ji Hye

Get Ji Hye’s look: Striped long sleeve tee, denim dungarees, 3.1 Phillip Lim tote and black sandals

Perhaps it’s symptomatic of being a 90’s child, but I’ve always had a soft spot for denim dungarees (or overalls for those kids in the US). Comfortable, durable and packed with more pockets than a person could ever need; it’s all about the humble dungarees.

Pair with a slouchy long sleeve tee like Ji Hye for boyish vibes. Or if you’re feeling something slightly sexier then opt for a nipped in waist (ideally balanced out with cropped 70’s flares) and a slick pair of heels.

Claire

Get Claire’s look: Off the shoulder top, pleated culottes and tan mules

Truth be told I have a bit of a girl crush on Claire. Not only does she have that whole effortlessly cool thing going on, but she always seems to be having a lot of fun with whatever she wears. Plus let’s face it, anyone who can pull of yellow so easily deserves some kind of sartorial high five.

Jane

Get Jane’s look: Tortoiseshell sunglasses, navy ribbed top, black eyelet belt, navy mini, Jason Wu suede clutch and black suede heels

If in doubt, belt it! It’s a small touch, but Jayne’s Louis Vuitton dress just feels so much more pulled together thanks to the slick piece of leather cinched around her waist. Hands down the easiest way to give a new lease of life to a dress or coat.

Utilitarian Cool

It’s all about those military vibes with relaxed utilitarian silhouettes, practical layers and neutral hues. Give your g0-to black pieces a rest and opt for khaki jackets and a fresh white tee for all kinds of urban cool.
