When it comes to an effortless sense of style, Scandinavians just seem to do it better. It’s all about the power of minimalism, tailoring and great fabrications. So I teamed up with up with Danish blogger Marie of Blame it on Fashion for Vogue Australia’s Style Spy to shoot a few of her favourite new season looks and talk about what sets Scandinavian style apart.

Seeing Double

Peter Pilotto sleeveless blouse and H&M holographic clutch

Jil Sander V-neck top, cotton trousers

AR leather shirt, leather A-line skirt and Acne bag

For my latest Style Spy post, I teamed up with Matches Fashion and the effortlessly cool Camille to explore one of my favourite trends: twin-sets. It doesn’t matter what’s your persuasion: prints, colour, white on white or black on black – everything works.

I’m completely obsessed with all three looks – especially the slick double leather. And Camille brings the pieces to life with the kind of downtown cool I was looking for – super stylish without trying too hard. See the rest of the post, and my thoughts on how to wear these looks over at Vogue.com.au here.

Keeping Warm

I love Mr Mittens beanie, Antipodium coat, Acne jumper, Nobody jeans, Nike sneakers, Celine bag

For my latest Style Spy post, I divulge my approach to winter dressing, which I’m pleased to say I have finally mastered. It may not sound overly complicated, but after leaving behind an Australian summer, one can easily forget the art of layering and keeping warm. See the rest of the post over at Vogue here.

In the studio with Mania Mania

For my latest Style Spy post, I caught up with Tamila Purvis, one half of the Mania Mania duo in their beautiful Sydney studio. Mystical and raw, their pieces have the perfect kind of imperfections that makes jewellery special. And Tamila is cool personified – the kind of girl you can’t help but want to be – laidback, layered in jewels, with killer style.

You can check out Mania Mania’s current collection here. My pick is the Telepathic Ear Cuff; clean and simple with plenty of edge.
