Summer

Camille

I think it’s the simplicity of Camille’s outfit that makes it so striking. I love that her cut-offs are a darker wash than the usual bleached denim, it’s a refreshing step away from the beach-babe look. I also love that she styled it with a dark blue tee; navy is without a doubt my favourite colour of late. It’s the perfect alternative to everyone’s beloved black! I know hair has become a frequent topic of mine, but you have to admit, Camille’s is pretty incredible. Such beautifully natural waves!

Elisse

I saw Elisse at a launch earlier this week, and in a sea of carefully considered outfits, her style just felt so relaxed and at-ease. I’m not saying I don’t like dressing up or having an excuse to wear my favourite heels, but sometimes less is more. What struck me about her was the paired-back simplicity; a quiet confidence that drew just me in. And with her dark-rimmed glasses and buttoned up shirt, Elisse’s look really was perfection!

Shanna

I met Shanna over the weekend while she was in town for one very cool campaign shoot. At just 17 there’s no doubt this Adelaide beauty has crazy amounts of potential. With her pocahontas-esque hair, willowy limbs and gap toothed grin she’s got all of the desired model traits on lock down. It was pretty funny listening to Shanna abbreviate everything in her teenage specific lingo. I’m not old by any means, but it’s like they have a language of all their own. Regardless, I was super impressed with her work. She’s so comfortable and strong in front of the camera, with the ability to morph into exactly who she needed to be. Such a babe, that’s for sure.

Jenny

What struck me about Jenny wasn’t any particular piece of clothing (although her burgundy loafers were pretty great), but the effortless sense of style she projected. Just relaxed and easy. It should be said I caught her while she was working (Jenny is an incredible hair stylist) so it was only natural that she was dressed pretty casual. But I prefer it this way; the simplicity of it all. Plus, she has such beautiful hair it kind of balances out her androgynous style.

I have to say, as someone with no tattoos, I was pretty taken with all of Jenny’s. She has quite a few, and every one just fit so perfectly with her style and personality. One cool lady.
