Today I’m Barcelona bound, which officially marks the start of my Spring break (in the most literal sense of the word). One of the main reasons I moved to the UK was to have the freedom to pick up my bags and travel to some of the incredible spots around Europe which are barely a few hours away. So for now it’s all about tapas, cold beverages and a little beach time.
While attempting to take a break from street style-induced fatigue, I found this GIF on my hard-drive from a shoot last year with the effortlessly beautiful Amelia (Priscillas). Nothing like tousled locks and a little Sydney sun. Bikini and jumpsuit from Karla Spetic, gum courtesy of Hubba Bubba. Gif-tastic.
For my latest Style Spy post, I caught up with Tamila Purvis, one half of the Mania Mania duo in their beautiful Sydney studio. Mystical and raw, their pieces have the perfect kind of imperfections that makes jewellery special. And Tamila is cool personified – the kind of girl you can’t help but want to be – laidback, layered in jewels, with killer style.

I feel as though 2012 was a really great year. Not just for myself, but for so many people I know. The months were flooded with opportunities, good times and new friendships. It was the year Sydney became my spiritual homeland, and the year I packed up my life and moved to London for a new adventure. I was fortunate enough to collaborate with some incredible people and brands, and have my work published in some great publications. I’m forever grateful for all of the support and am constantly inspired by those around me. To 2013, whatever it may bring!
