Ollie (who I’ve shot before here) is one Australia’s fastest rising talents on the model scene; she is absolutely killing it as the moment. Super sweet and laid-back, with a definite sense of style and ice blonde hair, she has a look that is very of the now. She walked numerous shows at Australian Fashion Week and starred in her fair share of lookbooks this season. I love her eclectic style; she has a way of wearing pieces in a way that no-one else would; a little off-beat and always effortlessly cool.

She pulls of this Emma Mulholland beaded Iguana skirt and cropped tee with such ease, totally making the look her own. Ollie is the face of Emma Mulholland’s latest campaign, and she couldn’t be a better ambassador for the brand. I met Candice for the first time last year at Australian Fashion Week, when I sidled up to her while she was shooting a stylish young girl along Circular Quay. With her killer legs, enviable wardrobe and super sweet personality it’s not hard to be a little swept up by her presence. Not to mention she’s also one of the best street style photographers on the fashion week circuit!

I love how Candice plays with bold pieces like this yellow skirt; she has fun with her style yet always manages to look perfectly polished. And how good are her Alexander Wang heels? The sleek point is so sexy, but the the low heel actually looks quite comfortable! I never thought I’d say this about what is essentially a kitten heel, but dream shoe perhaps?

Coats, jackets and vests are always my favourite pieces to wear. There’s just something about throwing on a coat or jacket over whatever I’m wearing that makes me feel my as if outfit is complete. Like I’m cocooned in delicious layers. Sydney’s warm climate doesn’t allow me to wear as many coats as I would like, so long-line sleeveless vests like these are perfect alternative.

The cut is more elegant than a bulky jacket, and the two pockets are somehow deep enough for me to forgo a handbag. I usually lug way too much around in my cabas tote, so it’s always a treat to walk out the door with almost nothing at all!

Dee looks all angelic in her collarless shirt-dress in the afternoon sun; so crisp and light! And her super sweet studded headband is the perfect accessory. I love a good shirt-dress; the masculine tailoring with a more feminine length is always effortlessly chic and uncomplicated. So good!

How good is Zanita’s take on the sport-luxe trend; I love that she paired such athletic pieces with sky high Ellery heels. I can’t get enough of caps lately (I wear my Supreme one all the time), and Zanita is a massive babe in hers. The white Alexander Wang golf bag is the perfect finishing touch; so sporty and fresh!

Presenting his spring summer 12/13 collection to an auidence with great expectations last week, Christopher Esber somehow managed to live up to the hype and then some. His new collection had a clinical touch; bright whites, clean cut and straight to the point. For someone so young, Esber really does have an eye for sophisticated, intelligent designs that are utterly wearable.

It’s his execution of the simple stuff that makes him stand out – the tailored shirts, pants and shift dresses are all perfectly in proportion and not the least bit boring. There were also a few standout pieces with impressive bead-work (namely the full length coat with intricately beaded sleeves) which I can’t wait to see up close. Considering he had everyone whispering comments of praise afterwards, with many calling it the show week, there’s no doubt Esber is destined for great things!

How incredible are Elle’s Balmain baroque pants?! The leather paneling is all kinds of amazing; and the embossed detail gives it such a rich finish. I love that Elle has kept the rest of her outfit simple, because really, when you have pants like these you don’t need to do anything else! The whole look is both striking and effortlessly cool.

Elle is the features editor for Russh; and it has to be said that the whole team have a relaxed (but uber stylish) approach to dressing. I love when woman wear more extravagant pieces, but keep their hair and makeup natural. It’s how things should be done!

Industry favourite and all round cool kid Kym Ellery pulled one stylish crowd for her show at Australian Fashion Week, where she presented her resort 12/13 collection ‘Delicatessen’. With her usual minimalistic touch, Ellery delivered structured silhouettes in crisp whites and opulent hues. Her ability to deliver such bold, architectural shapes in sleek and paired-back packages is what makes the label so alluring.

Hands down the best peplums of the week, particularly the peplum skirted mini-shorts in forest green and silver (although not for the faint-hearted) her tailoring really is a thing of beauty. And the neat shifts, cool coats, exaggerated shoulders; all so slick! It was Ellery’s juxtaposition of volume and minimalism that created such a sophisticated and ultimately desirable collection.

Not many girls could pull off a white crop top, but Geneva comes off effortlessly cool and confident. I love the pastel on pastel, and against her amazing tan (thanks to a Hong Kong summer) she looks like a total babe. I only met Geneva for the first time a few days ago at Australian Fashion Week, but like so many blogger meets, I felt like I’d known her for much longer. Total sweetheart, and DIY master (her paper bag clutch is one of her own creations), it was a real treat to finally cross paths.

Always a fan of Gary Bigeni, it was so good to pop backstage and see his work before the show. All round nice guy, and total genius when it comes to clever cuts, Gary did not disappoint. His spring summer collection ‘Fractured Appearance’ was awash with turquoise blue, orange hues, bold prints and sporty stripes all in effortlessly wearable silhouettes. As expected, the tailoring and drapery was done to perfection and delivered with the usual Bigeni style. The cat eye glasses were the perfect finishing touch; so sleek and ladylike!
