Joanna

Get Joanna’s look: camel coat, waffle knit jumper, white trousers and pointed black pumps

I love a woman with a signature look – and Joanna’s bold red lip never looks anything but flawless. Plus it highlights her flowing blonde locks perfectly! To me, this is the way to do winter whites – a few crisp pieces (in Joanna’s case a quality knit, tailored trousers and a clutch) neatly finished off with a great camel coat. Simple, but still super fresh.

Christine

Get Christine’s look: Tortiseshell sunglasses, black blazer, grey tee, Christopher Esber skort and leopard print pumps

Christine has a formula and man does it work – plenty of black, bold silhouettes, great heels and never a handbag in sight. I’m a huge fan of Christopher Esber’s work (the designer of Christine’s skort) – his approach to modern minimalism just can’t be beat. His pieces are carefully tailored, lending a masculine edge to his carefully constructed feminine styles. Think perfectly developed dresses which are super slick and sexy, over-sized coats in beautiful fabrics and knitwear with cut-away backs and asymmetrical hems. I could gush forever – Esber is no doubt destined for great things.

In Tartan

Pachacuti hat, Ray-Ban Wayfarers, Zara shirt, Watson x Watson leather pants (similar) and Tibi heels

I like my prints traditional and my shirts slouchy – so this guy does the trick. These leather pants are by Australian label Watson x Watson, who are definitely worth checking out. Their leather pieces are pretty incredible, as are their sculptural dresses and shaggy coats. Truth be told I’ve worn these pants for the better part of the past six months – no harm in a little repetition.

These shots are from my weekend in Brighton recently, and man I love that place. If you live in Europe and haven’t been before, go. This town somehow manages to have everything – the beach, quiet streets, amazing cafes (with lot’s of vegan and organic options), and a super cute pier lined with lights and carousels. It’s kind of like stepping back in time, but with good food.

Kay

Get Kay’s look: Black and white tartan jacket, boyfriend jeans, black fold-over clutch and patent black pumps

Black layers, a great heel and denim – the ultimate essentials when it comes to getting dressed (at least in my mind). And Kay totally kills this look with her boxy tartan jacket and slicker than slick patent pumps. Her cropped hair really accentuates the outfit too; cool, dark and easy.

I’ve been in two minds about whether to chop my hair again (and go shorter) or just leave it, and I have to say I’m pretty into the idea of a fresh cut for Spring. Not as short Kay, but it’s definitely time to let my neck get some air.
